Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and payment information.
Senior Information
For each Senior you register, we collect their name, phone number, timezone, preferred call times, and any conversation preferences you provide.
Call Data
During calls, we collect audio for real-time processing. We generate transcripts and summaries from this audio. Transcripts and recordings are automatically deleted from our systems after 14 days. Summaries are retained while your account is active. Email notifications containing call summaries are retained while your account is active.
To provide our service, call audio and transcripts are processed by our AI service providers (see Service Providers below). These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements and do not use your data to train AI models. Providers may retain processed data for up to 30 days for safety and abuse monitoring, after which it is automatically deleted.
Free Demo Call
When you request a free demo call, we collect your phone number to place the call. Your phone number is retained in our systems and by our telephony provider (Retell AI) as part of the call record. Your phone number is not shared with any other third parties and you will not be added to any marketing list.
During the call, your conversation with Clara is processed to generate a watercolor postcard. The call recording is retained by our telephony provider (Retell AI) as part of the call record. The text summary used to create your postcard does not include your name or phone number.
Your postcard is accessible at a unique URL that you can share. No personally identifying information appears on the postcard. You may request removal of your postcard by contacting support@claracalls.com.
We use Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity to analyze website usage. These tools may collect anonymized interaction data such as clicks and page views. No phone call content is shared with these analytics services.
Consent Records
When a Senior consents to receive calls, we store the consent evidence (voice recording or button-tap record, IP address, and timestamp) indefinitely as proof of consent for legal compliance.

AI-Generated Artwork
Clara creates watercolor-style illustrations inspired by themes discussed during daily calls. These illustrations are delivered to you and your family as postcards via email.
We may also share these illustrations publicly on social media and marketing channels. When we do:
- All accompanying text is independently written and contains no details from actual conversations
- No names, locations, dates, or other personal details are included
- The illustrations depict general scenes and do not contain identifiable likenesses
- There is no public link between shared artwork and any specific user or conversation
Clara Paints (Social Media Art Service)
Clara also operates as an interactive artist on Facebook and Instagram as @clarapaintsart. When someone tags @clarapaintsart on a post, they are requesting that Clara generate a watercolor painting inspired by that post.
Information We Collect When @clarapaintsart Is Tagged
- The image attached to the tagged post
- The caption or text of the tagged post
- The public profile name of the post's author
We only access content from posts where @clarapaintsart has been explicitly tagged. We do not access private posts, messages, friends lists, or any profile data beyond publicly visible information on the tagged post.
How We Use This Information
- To generate an AI watercolor painting inspired by the tagged post
- To reply to the post with a comment linking to the completed artwork
- To post the artwork on Clara's Facebook and Instagram pages as part of her public gallery
- To display the artwork on claracalls.com
If someone chooses to order a physical postcard of a painting, we collect a recipient mailing address and process payment via Stripe. Mailing addresses are shared with our fulfillment provider (Thanks.io) solely to print and deliver the postcard. We do not retain mailing addresses after fulfillment.
Public Gallery and Sharing
When @clarapaintsart is tagged on a post, Clara may generate a watercolor interpretation of that post and share it publicly on Clara's social media pages and website. The painting is an original AI-generated artwork inspired by the post — it is not a copy or reproduction of the original photo.
Each gallery post may include a caption written by Clara. These captions are inspired by the mood of the original post but do not reproduce the original text.
The person who tagged @clarapaintsart or the author of the original post may request removal at any time.
Data Retention
- Post images and captions are processed in real-time and are not stored after the painting is generated
- Generated watercolor images are retained as part of Clara's public gallery
- Postcard order details (mailing address, payment) are retained for 90 days for customer support purposes, then deleted
Removal Requests
If you want a painting removed from Clara's gallery, social media pages, or website, contact support@claracalls.com. We will remove it within 48 hours. Removal requests may be made by the person who tagged @clarapaintsart or the author of the original post.
